focus of practice

The focus of my practice is on functional medicine. Unfortunately there is no board certification for functional medicine in Germany (yet), but I have extensive training in practicing medicine and concentrated my recent studies on functional medicine. Originally I am double board certified in anesthesiology and emergency medicine, but in my practice the center of my work is on nutrition and general functional medicine since the root of disease interests me more than the sole treatment of symptoms.

My practice is equipped to do a board spectrum of lab tests. I can messure heart rate variability, CO2 and do ultrasound exams.

My general areas of interest include

  • Breathing therapy, especially treatment of chronic hyperventilation
  • Fasting, Nutrition and Weight loss
  • fatty liver, lipid- and blood sugar management
  • Men's and women's hormones
  • Thyroid disease
  • Sleep and dream physiology
  • Gut dysbiosis
  • Prevention of Cardiovascular disease and Neurodegenerative disease
  • travel medicine

I will accept private insurance as well as Tricare.
